Ardmore Architects has a lot of residentual experience working in the character "Avenues" of Herne Bay, Grey Lynn, and Ponsonby.

We have now relocated to the Hawkes Bay, and look forward to new inner city challenges and the oppertunity to work on medium density development.

New builds


	Muriwai Gannet View House Construction is about to start end of 2018 on a new build on a brown field site. The existing house clad in asbestos sidings has been responsibly removed, the site stabilised with inground retaining walls, ready for a new build. The new house maximiases the aspect towards the Gannet Colony Island, and will be a shared resourse for two families.


	angawhai Beach House Alterations Mangawhai Beach House Substantial alterations to an existing beach house, to bring it up todays livability standards, while maintaining the existing use rights of the site, and maximising the amazing site views.


	Fitzroy St, Ponsonby When friends bought a workingman's cottage in the mixed use zone of Fitzroy St in Ponsonby, it had been used as an office for many years. They are enjoying living in this walkable community. Plans are currently under development to provide an upper level bathroom, new services to the ground floor, and a new open plan kitchen, with greatly improved flow out into the rear sheltered courtyard. A big lifestyle change from the apartment they had been living in previously.
